I have spent over two years traveling solo through more than 35 countries as a writer, photographer, and filmmaker. I have written articles that have garnered millions of impressions and have produced, filmed, edited, and hosted more than 30 cultural documentaries in Africa and Asia, which have amassed hundreds of thousands of views. During my travels, I had the unique experience of staying with over 65 Peace Corps volunteers at their sites and photographing them.

Prior to my current travels, I worked as an energy efficiency research manager and analyst in Washington, D.C., and before that served for two and a half years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar. I am originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland and attended Montgomery College, Rockville campus before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from James Madison University and a Master of Public Policy from American University.
